I have been using the 'Happy Horse Hay Steamer' for several years, and recently upgraded to the Professional Steamer and have found it to be truly amazing. It is robust and yet 'smart' in design, and fits very neatly into the yard, thus making it practical and unobtrusive. It is so easy to use, and the fact that it takes Nets, Sections, or indeed a whole Bale makes it so versatile for everyday use. My friends horse does develop a cough if his hay is not steamed and has been using her steamer since the summer without a cough developing and she is more than pleased with her steamer. I purchased the Hobby Deluxe. My horse has never suffered with a cough (fingers crossed) but I bought the Hobby Deluxe has a preventative measure. Also with it being such a bad summer, the hay is not as dust free as it could be. We find the steamers very easy to use and are quick and efficient.
